We named this dining chair the Datsun because we think Datsuns are pretty cool. The Datsun is available in a range of Vintage PU colours including Black, Blue, Camel, Tan/Brown, Green and Red. Featuring a uniquely stitched padded seat reminiscent of the iconic Datsun, the Datsun Chair blends industrial style with comfort

If you want your dining table to feel less formal and a lot more like you, start with the chairs. The Datsun’s curved, channel-stitched seat brings the retro character of a classic car interior, turning an ordinary dining space into somewhere more relaxed, social and personal.

Construction

  • Plywood frame and solid plywood seat
  • High-density foam
  • Brushed metal frame and legs 
  • PU upholstery (tested by LASRA and met EN14465 upholstery fabric standards). Test results are available on request. 

At 42cm wide, it brings character without taking up masses of room. The seat and back use high-density foam with soft, vintage-finish PU upholstery that’s easy to wipe clean and highly resistant to spills and stains. The upholstery has been independently tested in New Zealand and meets EN14465 upholstery fabric standards. Finished with slim brushed-black metal legs.
